Doing Rest with new WCF Web API

Rest Support in WCF has come a long way since it was first introduced as part of .NET 3.5 SP1. At PDC last year the WCF Team showed that the REST support is going to get a lot better. In this session Himanshu introduces you to the new WCF Web API that Microsoft is working on and how it puts you in control to do REST your own way with WCF.

Himanshu Desai who works as a Senior Consultant at Readify is an experienced software architect/developer and has been developing on the .Net platform for around 10 years. He is highly passionate about SOA based architecture, solution design and loves working on WCF.

Behavior Driven Development in .NET

This session will introduce attendees to the Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) style of testing.  Using a Given\When\Then (GWT) narrative different approaches for scenarios will be discussed.  This talk will be done using NBehave.

About the speaker

Cristian was born in a tropical place in Panama and fell in love with computers at an early age. Although he now codes mostly in C#, he first learnt programming by writing GW BASIC in pieces of paper when he was just 9 years old. Cristian is a TDD/BDD maniac and has contributed to many open source projects, including the Gnome Project, the Mono project and some BDD related projects like XUnit-BDD and Machine-Specifications. He is a Microsoft ASP.NET MVP and just recenlty moved to Australia to work as a Senior Developer with Readify. He is still learning English,  so feel free to correct him anytime. On the other hand if you ever wanted to learn some Spanish swear words....
